A: We are closed New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Q: Do you have any openings? Breast milk can be no older than two weeks old in our freezer. Q: What do you do for lunches and snacks? A: We have a hot and nutritious catered lunch and provide breakfast and snack. Q: Can someone else other than a child’s parents pick them up? A: Yes if the person is listed on the registration form, otherwise we ask that you call us and let us know who is picking up your child and we will ask for identification at pick-up time in addition to a written authorization from the parent or guardian. Q: Can my child bring toys from home? A: We do allow children to bring in a SOFT toy and/or blanket for nap time, but other toys are not allowed except for special occasions, at which point you will be notified by your child’s teacher. Infants will not have any items in the crib with them at any time. We can swaddle a baby with a blanket from home for feeding but will not be placed in the crib with toys or blankets. Q: If my child does not nap at home, does he/she have to take a nap there? A: No, but the children are encouraged to lay down on their individual cots and have “quiet time” where they can read books quietly on the cot so as to not disturb the children who do want to sleep.
